The royal wedding is less than twenty-four hours way, and fashion watchers are getting antsy for any news related to dresses, any dress at all, that will appear at tomorrow's ceremony.

Designer Alberta Ferretti caused a flutter of headlines today when news broke that Prince Harry's date, Chelsy Davy, will wear two custom gowns, in blue and emerald, tomorrow.

In what is considered the next biggest news this side of the dress itself: Kate Middleton's bridesmaids will wear dresses by British designer Nicki Macfarlane. What we can tell you is that the designer creates bespoke party looks for bridesmaids and christenings; but like Libelula found a few weeks ago, the mere linking of a design name to the royal wedding is enough to crash their web site for a few hours.

Regardless of what the wedding dress looks like, it will be instantly iconic and quickly copied.

On today's WSJ Royal Wedding show, Martha Stewart Weddings's Darcy Miller, joins Kelsey Hubbard and Christina Passariello to discuss how the princess wedding dress is expected to impact the fashion world.
