Fashion's Night Out Expands by Elva Ramirez

Fashion's Night Out, the international shopping celebration spearheaded by Vogue's Anna Wintour, the Council of Fashion Designers of America and NYC &Co., continues to expand its reach.

Last season's show opened with models on a double-decker bus, followed by a fast-paced runway show featuring fashion's All-Stars. It was followed by the shopping event on Feb. 10.

The third iteration of Fashion's Night Out will take place on Sept. 8, 2011 in the United States.

How will FNO version three top appearances in over 100 cities and thousands of stores worldwide? By going online.

New for FNO 2011, e-tailers and e-commerce sites will be allowed to celebrate via virtual events, organizers announced.

Fashion's Night Out has teamed up with shopping and style site Polyvore to showcase online FNO events. In the days leading up to FNO, Vogue editors and celebrity guests will create pick out favorite fashion items to feature on Polyvore.
