The comely Rebecca Mader, who plays "Lost's" erstwhile Dr. Charlotte Lewis, turned heads in a sequin turquoise cocktail dress at Thursday evening's National Magazine Awards, where she was a presenter.

Do fans get to see Charlotte one more time before the show ends? "Yes!," she said, then showed off a tan arm as evidence /that she was on the Hawaiian set as recently as two weeks ago.

How will she celebrate the final episode, which airs May 23?

"I was thinking of having a party at my house, like a screening party and have all my friends over," said the British actress. "On paper that sounds like a really good idea, but I'm a really big geek. If someone talks, I will punch them in the head."

She could only watch the finale with one friend, who can be trusted to be quietly rapt, she said. "Because if someone is saying, 'What's going on?' I'll be like, 'Oh my God, get out of my house.' I don't have the patience." ("Lost" stars! They're just like us!)

Mader prefers to watch episodes that she's not in, adding that she liked the show more once her character died. (We beg to differ.) That said, she enjoyed returning for a brief encounter earlier this season with one Josh Holloway, in a romantic pairing that set a few fans aflutter. "I love Josh," she said. "He's like a big brother to me. We've got a very similar sense of humor. We're very silly."

"It was nice being able to see Charlotte off the island, in a dress, with make-up on, not covered in blood," Mader quipped. "It was a nice way to come back. I had worn the same outfit for a year and a half. To come back in a sequin dress looking fabulous? It was nice to show Charlotte's girly side."
